About Anna C. Snyder
Anna C. Snyder’s daughter, whose lineage traces back to Central Asia, was the inspiration for her book, The Weaver’s Tapestry. What started as an idea and continued through countless hours of research and rewrites, became her historical fiction novel, set in 7th century Samarkand. Through words on the page, Anna has sought to resurrect the ancient Sogdians, a long-forgotten people, whose influence in trade, agriculture, and craftsmanship, helped shape countries and cultures along the Silk Road.
